Our Privacy Philosophy
Most apps treat your data as fuel for ad targeting. We treat it as a sacred map of your becoming. The symbolic trajectory we generate — archetype resonance, coherence scores, phase transitions — is architecturally non-scrapable and meaningless outside our semantic graph. That's not just a privacy feature. It's the moat.
1. What We Collect
We collect what you give us — and nothing more.
Account information (email, display name) via Google OAuth. Your 7-factor coherence check responses. Ritual completions and engagement patterns. Archetype resonance data and phase progression.
We also collect standard usage events (page views, feature interactions) to understand how the infrastructure performs. No third-party trackers. No ad networks. No fingerprinting.
2. How Your Data Works
Your data generates a symbolic trajectory — coherence scores over time, archetype resonance patterns, transition phase progressions. This is semiotic intelligence: structured symbolic computation that's non-scrapable and meaningless outside our semantic graph.
Specifically, your data powers: computing your 7-factor coherence scores (stability, vitality, agency, connection, expression, clarity, wholeness), generating archetype resonance patterns and ritual recommendations, tracking your transition phase progression, and delivering personalized guidance.
We do not build ad profiles. We do not sell data. Your symbolic trajectory exists to serve your transition — not our revenue model.
3. Bounded AI
Your Council is 12 bounded AI agents powered by GPT-4o-mini. Unlike generic chatbots, each archetype has hard domain constraints and structural refusals. The Oracle refuses action advice. The Warrior won't do emotional processing. The Hermit won't strategize.
This is deliberate — bounded intelligence reduces hallucination and keeps guidance structurally honest. Your coherence data is sent to OpenAI for processing during council deliberation but is never used to train their models. We use the API, not the training pipeline.
No conversation history is retained by OpenAI. Each deliberation is stateless.
4. Storage & Security
Your data lives in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies — meaning your data is only accessible to your authenticated session. All transmission uses HTTPS. Database backups are encrypted at rest.
The symbolic data we generate — archetype resonance maps, coherence trajectories, phase transitions — is architecturally non-scrapable. It's meaningful only within our semantic graph. That's not just a privacy feature; it's the moat.
5. Retention & Deletion
Your coherence history and journey data are retained as long as your account is active. This longitudinal data is what makes trajectory analysis meaningful — patterns emerge over weeks and months, not single sessions.
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. When you delete, we delete. No shadow profiles. No retention for "analytics purposes."
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase Auth session tokens). We track product events internally to understand engagement patterns and improve the infrastructure.
No third-party advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No behavioral retargeting. The only tracking is operational: does the infrastructure work? Are people completing rituals? Where do they get stuck?
7. Your Rights
You own your data. You can access it, correct it, export it, or delete it. You can opt out of non-essential emails in settings. You can request a full data export of your coherence history, archetype resonance patterns, and engagement data.
If you're in a jurisdiction with specific data protection rights (GDPR, CCPA), those rights apply. We honor all such requests.
