Research Questions

Speed vs. Embodiment

Segmented wheel is slowest but most embodied. Spatial orbs are fastest but require more cognitive load. Sequential flow balances both with ritual pacing.

Linear vs. Non-linear

Spatial orbs allow non-linear exploration (touch factors in any order). Sequential patterns enforce a specific progression. Which creates better coherence awareness?

Visual Complexity

Spatial orbs show all 7 simultaneously (snapshot view). Sequential patterns show one at a time (focused attention). Trade complexity for context.

Production Candidate

Current production uses sequential flow. Spatial orbs could replace it if we value speed + snapshot awareness over guided ritual pacing.
