By using Liminal Space, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Straightforward.

Liminal Space is identity state infrastructure — not therapy, not coaching, not an AI companion. We measure coherence (7 factors), model transitions (5 phases), and guide reflection (12 bounded archetypal agents).

Think of it as observability for your identity. Therapists interpret; we instrument. If you're navigating a major life transition and want to see the pattern, this is infrastructure for that.

Coherence scores, archetype insights, and ritual recommendations are for personal reflection. They are not clinical assessments, diagnoses, or treatment plans. Use professional services for clinical needs.

You need an account for most features. You're responsible for your credentials. Provide accurate information. One account per person.

Use Liminal Space for its intended purpose: navigating your own identity transitions through structured reflection.

Don't: use it for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with system operations, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or share account access. The symbolic computation engine is proprietary — attempting to extract or replicate it violates these terms.

The infrastructure is ours. Your data is yours.

Ours: the 7-factor coherence measurement system, 12-archetype framework with bounded constraints, 5-phase transition model, ritual design patterns, symbolic computation engine, and the semantic graph that makes it all computable. These represent years of integrated work across systems engineering and analytical psychology.

Yours: your coherence scores, journal entries, archetype resonance patterns, and personal trajectory data. You can export or delete it anytime.

Core features (coherence checks, basic rituals, phase tracking) are free. Advanced features (full council access, shadow work, extended trajectory analysis) require a paid subscription.

Payments are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your settings. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us if something doesn't feel right.

The service is provided "as is." We are building infrastructure for identity state measurement. We iterate based on data and remain explicit about what is rule-based versus predictive.

Current intelligence is deterministic + symbolic (rule-enhanced). Predictive ML is a Phase 2 capability once we have sufficient trajectory data. We don't overstate our capabilities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liminal Space is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

We build with enterprise-grade discipline (row-level security, structured logging, comprehensive test coverage), but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or that the infrastructure will meet every expectation.

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll notify you of material changes via email. No surprises.
